How Bass Pro Return Policy Works

One of the best things about making a purchase at any Bass Pro store, website or by catalog is the fact that they have a great Bass Pro return policy. The truth is that whenever you are not happy with a product you bought, you can return it without any problems up to 60 days of purchase. Nevertheless, even when these 60 days are already over, Bass Pro may still accept your returns after they see the product is in perfect conditions after carefully inspecting it.

The truth is that while this brand is very permissive in terms of returns, there are a few exceptions to the rule. There are some items that you just can’t return. These include firearms, primers, black powder, ammunition, bullets, reloading lead and brass, big game calls, turkey calls, waterfowl calls, among other mouth calls.

According to the Bass Pro return policy, non-Bass Pro brand reels and rods, as well as electronics, should be returned or replaced by the manufacturer and not by Bass Pro after 60 days. So, how can you return the items you bought at Bass Pro?

#1: If You Bought The Item Online Or Over The Phone:

In case you bought the item either by phone or online, the returning process is very simple. You just need to go the Bass Pro website and fill out your email address and the Order Number that you can find on the confirmation email they sent you. Click on the Go button and the refund process will start immediately.

Please noticed that if you used PayPal to pay for the item, you will need to return the item to their Returns Center. In case you send the item to one of their retail locations, you will only have the option to get a gift card or make an exchange.

#2: If You Bought The Item On A Retail Store:

In case you bought your item at one of their stores and you want to return it, you have 3 different options: you can return it at the retail store, you can return them by mail to a Bass Pro Shops Retail store, or you can return them to the catalog returns department.

  • Returning The Item To A Retail Store:

If you decide to return or exchange the item in person, you need to bring the item, a valid ID, and the original invoice or receipt. You will need to allow the merchandise to be inspected and then you will be sent to the Customer Relations Desk to start the return process.

  • Returning The Item To A Bass Pro Shops Retail Store:

In case you prefer this option, you just need to bring the item as well as include a note with your name, phone number, and address, as well as the original receipt or invoice for the item.
